Within minutes of this, our faces began to brush.  She didn't mind, and I noticed that she was brushing up against me on purpose.  We continued to talk about where I was from, how many brothers and sisters in each others family, etc.  At one point, I couldn't stand the suspense any longer, and I let my lips touch her ear.  It was just enough so that she realized what had happened.  Mia jumped a little, and then she pulled away and looked at me, smiling with a sly grin.  She then tapped my leg and turned the other way to whisper something to her friend.  Well, not really whisper, as the club was very loud inside.  Her friend looked at her, then at me, and rolled her eyes and looked down at her cell phone to finish writing a text message.

Mia looked back at me, and then leaned into my ear to tell me something.  But this time she rested the tip of her nose against the top of my ear.  I jumped a little when she additionally put her hand on my thigh.  "My friends think you are cute", she said.
